Doctors fail.

Tomorrow was supposed to be the day I went to the specialerist to find out exactly where I'm at with this lymphoma thing and set up a plan of action. Well, this morning I awoke to hear that he had not received some sort of labwork or information that he needed, and that my appt. is being pushed back to Thursday.

On Thursday, for those of you not in the loop, I had planned to be moving out of my apartment in Blacksburg, because my lease ends on Sunday and knowing the management, they'll expect my keys by close of business on Saturday. This means that after my appointment on Thursday, I will get in the car and do the 10 hour drive to Virginia, sleep, pack clean and move in one day, and likely (depending on how Thursday goes) be back in NY before Monday.

Someone, please, if I'm doing something wrong here tell me what it is. Is there something I'm missing? I can't honestly believe that this is how things work routinely.
